Jumping feature bug?

Does anyone else get an extra high jump if they jump three times on the spot? I'm experimenting with this and found if I jump on the same surface three times is quick succession, my third jump is significantly higher. My method is just to keep pressing space bar quickly.


ETA: Looks like a feature - I found this thread about it. Pretty neat.
