I am ttttired this morning. Feel like a freaking zombie. I've taken he morning stimulants as well ass some cake to wake up, but so far, it's not working. I'm sitting here sucking down some coffee, tryung ti wake up.

I was very busy yesterday. First, I made bagels, which turned out well. They were actually better than the first batch. I made 8 of them, of which two are left, one plain, and one everything bagek, The couple I've had were quite tasty. The everything bagels needed more topping, but aside from that, it was all good. After that, we had a hour or two to relax. Then, it was time to play our first game of the day.

It went super well, and backstories were spilled in long and juicy RP. Actually, the entire game was nothing but RP. Hopefully no one was bored. The party is writing journal entries from the POV of their character. It's awesome a gives me more backstory to play with. After that, I relaxed for a moment, until groceries came and then I started making a birthday cake.

The cake was kind of a tragey. It looked and tasted okay, but I had a hard time getting it out of the pan, so the layers were kind of ragged. Then, I iced it, which I am apparently not great at. It came out fine, just not as pretty as expected. I got some candles and a lighter and we whispered happy birthday to Jess so as to not set of the dog.

Then, dinner, which Jess requested Chana Masala, which turned out more to my satisfaction. Today, we shall have something simple. Then, a walk for the dog, and another game!

All in all, hopefully a good day for my kitty. Okay time for me to get my ass together. Everyone have an amazing Thursday!

Looking for housemates in Minnesota

I've been living at my childhood home, a hobby farm in Minnesota, taking care of my dad. Soon my dad will be moving to assisted living, along with my mom who is moving there from the nursing home.

I'll be staying at the farm and looking after the animals. I'd rather live here with other people, as it's safer and more fun. I have multiple disabilities which make managing a whole farm rather difficult on my own. I've had a couple of seizures which make it safer for me to have people around me. Minnesota is one of the better places to live right now in the US and this could be a good opportunity for someone to live here.

So, if you know of anyone that would like a nice place to live, please direct them my way, especially queer and trans people looking for a relatively safe place. There is a lot of space in the house (3 full bathrooms, 4 bedrooms), and plenty of outdoor space.

I have one cat and one dog in the house, and outside there are a few sheep, one aging horse that is strictly a pasture pet, and some guinea fowl. Amenities include a dishwasher, laundry, wifi, some streaming services, 2 gas fireplaces. This is a wonderful place for hobbies such as gardening, woodworking, fiber arts, baking, etc. In addition to the house there are some outbuildings and a nice garden shed. Opportunities for fishing, golf, biking abound in the region.

Couples (+) are welcome as are kids. There is a good elementary school just a few miles away.

The house needs a bit of work, but overall it's very nice and peaceful. One thing I do contend with here is bugs. There is no central AC but we can do window AC units when needed. Sometimes the dog barks in an annoying manner (we are working on it). I could use help with mowing, weeding, cutting brush.

You could live here for cheap as I mostly am looking for company and help. I can't live with smokers due to my disabilities. I have lived with roommates for most of my life and can provide references.

The house is rural but only a few miles from the nearest shopping area, and close to a small city. You would probably need to have a car, though we can get grocery delivery here.

My interests include watching TV shows and movies, gardening, science fiction, jigsaw puzzles, thrifting. I'm a queer woman in my 40s. I'm a rather extreme night owl.

If interested you can comment here or email me, sandphin at gmail dot com. Share this link with people you think might be interested!

The cat was a little beast today and as a result, I'm tired and grumpy. It's not a good combination. She started annoying me at 3 am and did not stop. I gave up at 5, but I'm having anxiety because I have games for the next three nights, and this was my one chance to sleep in until Sunday. But noooo. Saturday should be fun, as I have work, plus two games. Seriously, Boodle is lucky she's cute, because I could have screamed this morning.

I'm very sore this morning, probably due to the weather and sleeping weirdly. Once I settle myself down, I'm going to go start making some baked goods.

Today is Jess' birthday, so I'm going to do my best to spoil them. Everything they want. Starting with bagels, which I will commence as soon as I wash dishes. Then, I shall make cake and icing, then some chana masala. At some point, I will have to go to the grocery store and grab some things to make the chana masala, as I am out of tomato sauce. But first, I may need to take a nap, because I am ready to bitchslap anyone who looks at me sideways.

I was going to make the bagels last night, but I had a headache and didn't do it.

I had the meeting with the financial dude, and it seems pretty simple. I esigned a couple of forms, and made my account, and according to him, in a week or so, it will have money in it. Then, I will transfer it to my bank account, and we'll be done. I'm not going to relax until I check my bank account and see money in it. I put this in a seperate account, so I can't accidentally touch it. I will have to use it deliberately. First up shall be paying off my car, then paying the rent for a few months, and then getting a few things for the house we've done without. After that, I'll probably take a small amount for frivolous things, and put the rest away for emergencies. Maybe open up a CD with some of it.

Okay, I'm still very grumpy, so I'm going to go make some bagels. Maybe that will settle me down. Everyone have a wonderful Wednesday! And happy birthday, my love.

ETA: Bagel dough did indeed help. I took out my frustration while kneading and feel much better.

I am so tired today. I did not want to get up when the alarm kicked off. But alas, money. I was anxious last night about the meeting with the financial person today. It's scheduled for 10am. I trust my sister as far as what they want to talk about, but there's that small part of me that still thinks they're going to jerk the money away like Lucy with the football. I won't be happy until it clears my bank. Possibly not until I pay off the car. I'm making wild plans of things I want to do with it. Most of them involve taking friends for lunch at fancy places and treating them. I'm planing to hold about $1000 for that. Whether that's where they choose or not, I'm also definitely going up to Philly to Parc. That was without question one of the best meals I've ever had, and I'd like to repeat it. Or, if they want to come to Baltimore, we can merge the Philly and DC crowd and pick something midway, and do an enormous party. That actually sounds kind of fun. If everyone wanted to take the Marc, I could pick them up in a limo and go somewhere fun.

I will think on it.

Yesterday was a relatively busy day, but not terrible. After work, I ran down to the leasing office and picked up our pool pass. It's going to be kind of chilly this weekend, but we might go down on Sunday and freeze our asses off. I'm really excited about having a pool again. I missed that while we lived in the house.

Today, we shall have the meeting, and find out when we can get the money. I shall work, we shall have baked chicken, and then I shall make bagels. Tomorrow is Jess' birthday, so they shall have a day of baked goods.

I'm making bagels tonight, and then something sweet, then game, and then I shall go get a cake and the ingredients to make Chana Masala, per their request. Then we shall have chana masala, rice and then cake.

It's been a rough month with the (thankfully clean) biopsy, and we definitely have things to celebrate.

The rest of the week shall be a blur of games. The conclusion to a one shot on Thursday, Ice Dragons on Friday, two games on Saturday and a game on Sunday. It's going to be bonkers, and I'll be very tired Sunday night, but it'll be so worth it.

I've got to do a bit of preparation before Saturday's second game. Which I'll probably work on tomorrow. There are maps, but they suck, so I've sourced some other stuff. I just need to snip and upload the info.

I'll get there.

Okay, time to get myself together and do some work. Everyone have an amazing Tuesday!

It's Monday again! Whoo.

I was a complete lump yesterday. Once the bagels were done, I did absolutely nothing else of note. Well, I did run out in the evening to meet up with one of my old IKEA coworkers to fob off a couple of cinnamon rolls. I'll make them again soon, but probably will halve the recipe.

The bagels timed out perfectly for game. I was a little concerned because game was at 9, and they finished rising around 8, but it worked out great. I pulled the second tray out of the oven at about 5 of 9, so it was perfect. They turned out really well! They were chewy, tender and delicious. Perfect with a bit of cream cheese. Next time, I'm going to make either egg bagels or cinnamon bagels. Or maybe garlic bagels. We'll see. They're a bit of extra work, what with needing to boil them, but they were really good.

Then we had an excellent game where I got to do some good shit. I'm playing a high-level cleric, and it's a lot of fun. I am 100% a spellcaster girl when it comes to D&D. I want to be able to throw spells at the naughty creatures. We're currently in a ludicrous battle, with at least 50 opponents. I'm running out of high level spells, and I figure I'm going to need them soon.

Today will be busy, busy, but it'll be fine.

Tomorrow, will also be busy, but I need to step away from work for a few minutes for a meeting. Remember the 401k of my father's that said they needed probate? Yeah, now suddenly, they don't. We could have money as soon as next week. This could be huge. I will be able to pay my car off, and maybe the rent for a couple of months, and have a little in the bank. I am SO fucking happy about it. Yet I won't believe it until the money is in my account. But it hasn't stopped me from dreaming about the things I can do. I can pay 6 months of my car insurance! And get the furniture we've been wanting to, like a kitchen pantry! And a file cabinet for my office that I can put my printer on!

And with all that, we might be able to put Yoda in doggy daycare part time. Which would be lovely. Might tire him out so that he's less of a terrorist. It would only be a couple of days a week for half a day, and he might enjoy it.

So tomorrow, we'll find out how much we're getting and what all we're going to do. It would be lovely for things to not be quite so tight. Again, not going to 100% believe it until the check clears in the bank, but it would be so nice.

And now, I shall go forth and have more coffee and consider putting on clothes. Ew, clothes. Everyone have the very best Monday that you can Monday!

It's Sunday and I've been up for an hour! Why, you ask? I was excited about making bagels. I'm weird, I swear. I'm on a bit of a yeast bread kick, I suppose. Yesterday, I made cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing. And of course, we had left over cream cheese, so I was like "Bagel? How hard to make bagel? And it doesn't look terrible, so we're going to try it.

Yesterday was a good day. I woke up to a dog panting in my face, which is unusual, because normally the dog isn't allowed in our room. We leave our door open at night, and my sister had to get up early to go in for work. So he was able to come right in. I got up and shooed him out while the cat looked at me like WTF. Once up, I spent a few hours fucking around before it was game time.

This was the Arvandor game, which went swimmingly. I tried to kill my spouse's character repeatedly, we had some intrigue and role play, and now my players are thoroughly paranoid. I really enjoyed myself.

I'm going to try to do more homebrewing, even in the modules I'm using, because that's when I really feel like I enjoy myself the most. When I look back at all the games, the times that I remember is when my players went off the rails and I had to pull stuff out of my ass. I've got another module coming up soon, but I'm going to try to make it more interesting.

In the evening, We had a fairly short game, the conclusion of a MotW game. I knew it wasn't going to last too long, but it was pretty short.

In between, I made cinnamon buns. Next time, I will definitely cut down the recipe, becuae it made a dozen rolls. There is NO way we can eat all of these. I'm leaning towards giving some to the neighbors.

Okay, time to go start the water to boil for the bagels! Everyone have an awesome Sunday!

Todays vid is a favorite Marvel trailer, Glitter and Gold. I know I've posted it before, but it does give me a happy.

I am so sleepy this morning. The dog kindly woke me up at 6:30, which sucked, but it's okay. I'm a little woofled, but I'm waking up slowly. My sister's going into work for a few hours since her office is moving, so she was up early and Yoda with her.

Today is a busy day with games. I've got one at 12 and one at 7. I'm looking forward to both a lot. Somewhere in beteween, I'll need to make dinner. Not doing anything fancy. Some mashed potatoes and maybe, if I feel especialy fancy, I'll make my sister some more baked beans to go with pork loin that I'm baking. I'll see how I fee after game #1. OR more to the point, I'll see if I want to make the bbq sauce. It wasn't difficult, so I could easily do it.

Yesterday was mostly quiet. I only did 39 calls, though I also did a lot of other things. I spent the last hour on the hunt to fill in some appointments. I got them all scheduled, though, so that's something. I had some super sweet patients and found a lot of STAT spaces for patients.

Last night, I went dirt simple for food. Buttered garlic noodles and chicken tendies. It was a nice simple meal. Tonight's will have to be semi simple, but I think I could make time to make them a double batch of bbq sauce, and then some baked beans. Last time (2 days ago) they were excellent.

I am considering doing more mousse cups. I'm out of strawberries, but the mousse was pretty damn good by itself. I had been talking about making a mexican hot chocoleate mousse I would probably make more pie crust. That would be helpful for any mousse tart. I'll think on it.

And now, I shall go forth and make some pie crust. I need to wait a couple of hours for the rest--all the bowls are in the wash. Everyone have an amazing Saturday!

Today we have a loving send up of fandom in vid form by Astolat and Speranza. It reminds me of the good old days, when we'd drive or fly hours to go to a vaguely sketch hotel with workers that looked at us weird, just to celebrate the joy of loving something. I got a little snippet of that with the CONFab this past winter, and it was glorious.

Yesterday was wall to wall busy, and I'm hoping for a slightly easier day today to slide into the weekend. A lot of it was of my own making, but still.

Work was busy, but more than the usual, I was getting emails. My counterpart was out, so I got all the emails. I started out the day trying to fill in a couple of appointments, a diagnostic mammo and two cardiac CTs. Then, almost as soon as I did that, the emails started rolling in. All day it was "call this pt and offer this appt." Or one, "call this patient and offer this appt, but we're still working on this second appt." (I found the second appointment easily, and looked really good.) Then, the mother of all emails. Here are these seven people who called downtown. No, it's just names (Every single one of them misspelled) and phone numbers. So that took forever to work through.

At lunch break, I made more cookies--this time cardamom cookies. They're quite good. Faintly salty and sweet, and delicious.

Right after that, I put in a pork roast. The internet told me 3 hours. (The internet lied.) First, I needded to make some BBQ sauce. I found a recipe that sounded interesting, then I added some chipotle powder for a tiny bit of heat. It turned out really well, so I basted the pork and then I made baked beans with it. I wasn't mad about how it turned out.

Then the big stuff. I had made my pie crust yesterday, so it was ready. I rolled it with a bottle of oyster sauce, and slipped it into the cupcake tins. Then, I melted the chocolate. On Too Good to Go, I had gotten the Ikea Spring pack, which was 10 of their leftover chcolate bunnies, two of which I put to good use. My plan was to make custard, and do a little bit of chocolate and a little bit of custard, then the strawberries I got from the farmer's market. Instead, I added a little bit of milk and vanilla to the chocolate and made mousse. Then, I stewed the strawberries with a little sugar and red wine vinegar and just a sprinkle of cinnamon. Paul hollywood would not have approved of the results--the strawberries were very wet, and the pastry was a little soggy, but goddamn, they tasted good. I will definitely make it again. It was like a chocolate covered strawberry, and I loved it, especially the mousse.

Today, I have to decide what I want to make. I'm still debating, but I need to pull something out of the freezer. I'm considering a garlic alfredo to go over some pasta with chicken. I've got some lime to brighten it, so That might be a good plan. We have game tonight, so it needs to be something simple.

And on that note, I'm going to go forth and take a shower and put on some fresh clothes. Everyone have an excellent Friday!

Another masterpiece from [personal profile] talitha78

This one is from White Collar, and damn, you don't realize how close they stood to each other until you see the vid. I'm looking forward to watching the new series when it comes out.

Yesterday was a fairly busy day. I worked, during lunch I made snickerdoodle cookies, which turned out pretty well. Debating on making the cardamom cookies today, but we'll see. After work, I made dinner, and ate. Our 7pm game got pushed back to 7:30, so I went ahead and made pie dough.

Today, I have work, maybe cookies, then after work I'm going to make the pie dough into mini tarts. I realised that the bottle of oyster sauce would be okay for a small rolling pin. then, I'm going to melt some chocolate in a double boiler and bake the tarts. Then, a thin layer of chocolate in the bottom of the tart. Then, some vanilla custard, which I'll make on the stove and spoon in. Lastly, I'll be cooking some of the strawberries with some sugar and cinnamon to make a delicious filling. Then, everything gets put in the fridge to chill. The trick is going to be to get the pastry crust thin, and the layer of milk chocolate very thin as well. We'll see how it goes. I will post pictures. Dinner is going to be a long cooking pork butt with homemade bbq sauce. I'm going to do that this morning.

Then, tomorrow, it shall be Friday and the weekend of Games shall begin! And the premier of Murderbot. Want to try to watch that, maybe on lunch tomorrow. If not, we'll aim for Sunday. We've got time after the morning game.

And then, Wednesday, it will be Jess' birthday! They have requested Chana Masala for dinner. I need to get a couple of ingredients, but I need to run to whole foods for cupcakes anyway, so I can grab it there.

Okay, time to go make some bbq sauce. Everyone have a lovely Thursday!

Today is an old favorite, which debuted at the last in person con.txt I was able to attend. I fell immediately in love, with both the video and the song. Through it, I also discovered [personal profile] talitha78 who makes amazing, perfectly timed vids. You will see that name again before the end of this week.

Yesterday we had shitty weather and I had a headache. I left work a few hours early, but my brain informed me that I shouldn't waste the time. Too Good To Go had an IKEA spring pack, which promised chocolate for $5.99. I really wanted some chocolate, so I grabbed it. Turns out, they're cleaning out the easter chocolate, namely their stand up bunnies. They gave me ten goddamn boxes. We have SO much chocolate.

Then it was off to the farmers market. I'm pretty poor this week, so we got pea shoots, asparagus and some strawberries. The pea shoots went really well in the chicken I made last night. I didn't even know those were a thing, but they're delicious. I'm already figuring out where I can use them again. The asparagus are really tall things, so I'm looking forward to that. Might have them tonight with some chicken thighs.

By the time I got home, it was almost time to make dinner, so I started that a bit early. I made a big thing of mashed potatoes, and then I sliced up and cooked some chicken. Then I took the chicken out, added a bit of onions and sauteed them. Then, added garlic, and then the chicken and some broth. (Shout out to Sam's club Chicken base, of which I need to get more.) Then, I let it simmer for a few minutes, and threw in the pea shoots. It turned out really well, and I was very pleased with it.

Today, I need to make some more cookies or something. I'm torn between Snickerdoodles or cardamom cookies. Snickerdoodles are my favorite cookie, but I don't have the old recipe I used, so I'm afraid that they won't be as good and I'll be disappointed. The cardamom cookies are basically snickerdoodles with cardamom, so we'll see. Both sound pretty good, honestly. I've been pretty much baking every few days, because my family is going through these cookies fast. (I'm certainly helping.) I'd make a strawberry tart, but I have no rolling pin to roll out the dough. I don't even have a jar that I could makeshift. I put it on my amazon wish list, so I can find it easily. I need to add tart shells to it, and a pie pan, because I'd like to make a strawberry rhubarb tart.

I didn't think I'd need all the baking stuff, but I've found myself really enjoying the baking. Cookies, cakes, bread, I make it all. I might also make some bread today, but we'll see. We don't currently have any, and I have a super fast recipe. it only takes about two hours to make. It's a French bread recipe. It's pretty tasty, so that's possible.

Tonight, we have a game, so I definitely want to bake something. I need game snacks. Everyone have an outstanding Wednesday!

Okay, time for me to get my ass in gear. Everyone have an amazing day.

Today's video and song is the excellent Parachute. When I first saw it, I didn't think much of the song, but then I found myself singing it for the next four days. Now I'm rather fond of it. And honestly, "Don't believe the things you tell yourself so late at night. And, you are your own worst enemy, you'll never win the fight" is a mood.

Today is the farmer's market, so I'm going to go check that out after work. I can't afford much, but I should be able to get some veggies for the week, which will be good. I'm specifically going for veggies as opposed to prepared goods, because I know the $20 I allotted will go a little further. I should be able to get a few things at least.

Yesterday was surprisingly not horribly busy. I barely made the calls/day average thanks to a few first time patients, which take forever. We'll see how today is. I had a few patients to call for various and sundry things, but was able to get them pretty easily.

I made the Char Siu pork last night, which turned out well. I was very pleased with it. Today, I'm thinking about mashed potatoes with chicken in a gravy with onions and garlic and maybe some carrots to go over it. I also made cookies, using the Tollhouse Chocolate chip recipe without any chocolate. They've become one of the favorites of things I bake.

I need to remember to block off a few Sundays on the games calendar for late November into December so I have time to make holiday cookies. Between now and then, I'll need a rolling pin, cookie cutters, and a couple more sheet pans and some sherry. And maybe a better set of measuring cups, since the half cup measure already broke. Oh, and some cookie tins for presents.

I'm already debating on the types of cookie. I'm thinking Chocolate chip, sugar cookies, gingerbread, and something else to be decided later. Maybe Snickerdoodles, assuming I can find a recipe I like. Oh, and Oatmeal. The recipe for them are really good.

I'm trying to stay away from allergens, because I want to give them to people in our apartments. Just a thank you for being cool about Yoda being a bit barky. I'll print out some tags and we'll tape them on with a bow. Make sure Yoda's included on the tag. And I'll print a paper with the ingredients on them for allergy purposes.

Yesterday I also found out that another former IKEA coworker got a job at Hopkins, using me as a reference. If she stays 6 months, that's another $1000 bonus. I'm already 2/3 of the way to my first bonus, which should hit in late July. It'll be taxed of course, but that should still be about $700 extra. I'm going to pay some bills, and then probably have a nice dinner. Maybe if there's enough left, I'll treat myself to something, but we'll see.

We did another order on the Too Good To Go app. This one was from Whole Foods, a bakery bag. We got a chocolate hazelnut swirl loaf, four cherry turnovers, and a package of 8 brioche chocolate croissants. Not bad at all for $6. IKEA's restaurant also participates, so I'm going to try them one night. Their pickup is at 7:30pm, which isn't too late.

They also have an afternoon pick up, so if I'm off one day, I might do that. Maybe the day we go to see Ghost. We could pick up an early dinner there and head down to the arena.

And on that note, it's about time for me to get myself together. Everyone have a super Tuesday!

This week's theme will be Fanvids! We know them, we love them! I'm going to spotlight the fanvids that made me love a song. If I don't hear a song via Jess or via Tik Tok, I'm probably not going to hear it, unless it's in a fanvid. Fanvids have a pretty good portion of my playlists. So, I figured I'd start off with an oldie but goodie.

Related, why the fuck doesn't Demon Hunter's "I Am a Stone" have more fanvids set to it? It's an amazing song that could lend itself to any fandom with a tortured woobie, yet I'm only finding one SPN vid? Where is my Marvel videos? "And when you think this is the end, you will find me there where I have always been." It could be SUCH a perfect Bucky song. "It's hard to say that I'm back on a straight line. You see, my path, is in fact just a fault line." I wish I had the slightest idea of how to vid, or that my computer was up to the task, because I can even see the scenes that I would use for each line. Ah well. Alas. This is not my talent.

Sunday was a good day. Didn't do a whole lot. I spent a lot of the day prepping, and then, I just relaxed. There was a lot of switching positions so the dog didn't get cranky and bark a lot. Then, I was perusing the internet, and found an app called "Too Good To Go." It's. meant to cut down on food waste. Different restaurants and grocery stores put up "surprise bags." They cost about $5-6, and are valued around $20. You pick them up towards the end of the day, and and they add stuff that didn't sell, or leftovers.

I decided to try it out and put in an order at a bakery. It meant driving downtown, but we got a cupcake and two little pies. They were very tasty. They were citrus, which isn't normally my thing. But the little Key lime pie was stellar. Today, I'm picking up a bag from Whole Foods which may have bread and scones.

Restaurants do it too. There's a Jamaican place nearby that offers it, so I might try that one day.

That was pretty much my day. We didn't do a whole lot else.

Via Smart Bitches Trashy books, I found a new series of books that I've been devouring. Filthy Rich Vampires has been super fun so far. It's on kindle unlimited. It's very much a nobody turns out to be the chosen one book, but those are fun sometimes. I started the series on 5/8, and am currently on book 4, which for me is a hell of a lot of reading. After this, there's her other series, Filthy Rich Fae, and there may be other vampire books, I don't know. Will report back when I've finished the last book of this story.

Okay, time for me to get myself ready for work. Everyone have the very best Monday!

A little late putting this up on account of asshole dog. He demanded to go out immediately upon waking, and then I figured I'd make breakfast early, since my sister has a mother's day lunch with the inlaws at 12pm.

We have some bananas, still not 100% ripe, but super sweet, so I made bastardized bananas foster pancakes. No flambé owing to no rum, and a touchy smoke alarm, but I added a little tawny port to give the sauce that boozy flavor. It turned out super well, and was delicious and very filling. I didn't even make the bacon to go with it, and it was enough. The bananas really bulked it up, I think.

Today, aside from running my sister to aforementioned inlaws, I have nothing planned. Just a day of preparing games, and taking it easy. Next week is a four game weekend, plus one on Wednesday night, so I will be getting shit together to DM three of those games. Every one of them are homebrew, so I really need to get on the prep train.

We only had one game this weekend, which was yesterday. It was the risen Atlantis one, which was a lot of fun. We started out with a naval battle, during which our heroes nearly died, and finished with them finally making it to the island and starting the whirl of the social season. A whole lot of characters introduced, and a lot of role play. It was super fun. Some of these characters, I've been living with for a couple of months, so it was cool to finally introduce them. Everyone had a good time, including me, so I'm happy. We're into lunch conversation, so that'll probably take up another 1/3-1/2 of a session, and then they'll have a little time to explore before they get to the royal audience with the queen. (Them and all the other courtiers.)

The battle was super fun. I got to introduce a couple of adversaries, like a Way of the Ascendant Dragon monk, and a Spite Domain cleric. They're both high level and super scary. The monk gets five attacks per round, and the cleric can summon a demon. I'm looking forward to bringing them to the island and making the party interact with them under a treaty of non aggression. That should be hilarious.

Wednesday we shall have Blades in the Dark, and possibly finish the arc that we've been doing for three games.

Then Friday is Frostmaiden, with another big roleplay episode as the cleric faces their academic bosses and tries to justify their abscence after completing the mission that was set for them. Also, their participation in multiple god slaying activities. They left a first level cleric and are coming back an ultra powerful 20th level near-god, but that's probably not going to matter.

Then, Saturday, it's back to Atlantis in the morning, and off to Monster of the Week in the evening. They oddly will be going to the undersea to deal with the fey court, so I can reuse some of my maps!

Aside from that, there's a possible trip to the farmer's market on Tuesday and work. I have a very exciting life.

Whoops, turns out that my sister is not going owing to the BIL being sick. She's prepping for a big move at work, so she can't afford to get sick, and decided to stay home. Yay, I can make cookies!

I've got pork marinating in char sui sauce, so that will be dinner sorted. A little bit of Rice, a little bit of pork and sauce and we'll be good.

And now, I'm off to do some prep, and get myself together. Everyone have an awesome Sunday!
