TUG got its Kickstarter funding (has a few hours left, if anyone wants to join, and apparently there'll be paypal options soon), and despite a few dust-ups in the forums, a few of us are content that the devs are listening to the options some of us want: agendered characters, in-game disabilities, characters of color, and the ability to pick settings to opt out of player-vs-player combats.
I've started a Glitchy guild. I have no idea what a "guild" really does in MMORPGs, but I at least want the option of distributing appropriate emblems to former glitchen so we can recognize each other.

The ancient and noble guild of Tree-Petters, who long have wandered the multiverse since the season of Candy in the Year 26, are happy to have found a new potential home. Eschewing both the joys and dangers of interpersonal combat, the guild focuses on exploration, crafting, and the mental arts of meditation and teleportation (which may not actually be possible, but we'll keep trying).
We focus on wildlife preservation and cultivation of resources for the benefit of all, although we're not above a bit of borrowing from other people's gardens when we're in a hurry. (However, stealing other players' pigs, especially if they've been named, is just mean. We don't condone such rookish behavior.) Some guild members may specialize in construction and tinkering; others may focus on herbal extracts; toys and feasts will both be encouraged. We will throw epic parties, and bake pies to give to random strangers. Our golems will be trained to address Seeds as "Madamsir," and they will occasionally hand out gifts to visitors to our homes.
We will wander the realms, build giant shrines on hillsides, gather fireflies in jars, play music for crabs, go on underwater quests, and help each other dig peat from bogs. We will harvest ice to make exotic cocktails. We will chase bats and mine sparkly stones. We will make amazing art with materials nobody thought were art supplies. We will reach out to our lost kindred, and to new kindred who have never visited the sleeping giants.
We may not keep detailed membership lists, but we'll probably wear emblems so we know each other when we meet.
Feel free to correct my Latin, which was done with the help of Google Translate; I know how accurate that's likely to be.
