what... happened to the keyboard shortcuts?

So! I am used to walking around with the arrow keys and squeezing/petting/nibbling/harvesting everything with the enter key and the last couple of days, that's not worked so well for me. Enter hasn't selected anything off a menu (although paying attention to what letter of the word is underlined and using that works at least) and the walking around thing... it used to be I had to hold down the arrow keys to keep moving but now one key tap sets me off and I can't figure out what the heck to press to *stop,* especially since the spacebar-jump is only working about half the time. This is a pretty severe source of frustration for me in general, right now it's made that bit of Ilmenski Caverns that you have to hop across to get to the Drop more or less uncrossable for me.

Did something major change? I can't find documentation in the FAQs or wikia of a change in the keyboard shortcuts, or of a key you'd use to stop/brake. Or is my version of flash incompatible? The game's been telling me I need to update, but 10.3.183.11 is the highest version Adobe will give me on my Mac over here.
